Cameron Michelle Diaz (in. San Diego, California, August 30, 1972) is an American film actress and former model. He has been nominated four times Golden Globe Award.
Diaz was born in San Diego, California, the daughter of Billie Early a commission agent, and Emilio Diaz, an importer / exporter (03/Jul/1949 - 15/Abr/2008 †), born in the county of Los Angeles) who worked in the department of pipelines for the California oil company UNOCAL for more than twenty years, until he retired in 1998.
His father was a second generation Cuban. His grandparents settled in Ybor City, Tampa. It is Cuban, English, German, Native American Cherokee and Dutch ethnic descent.
Has an older sister, Chimene Diaz (born June 5, 1970, San Diego). He went to Long Beach Polytechnic High School at the same time as rapper Snoop Dogg.
