Kathrin Romany Beckinsale (July 26, 1973), better known as Kate Beckinsale is a British actress and occasional model.
Kate Beckinsale was born in London, England. Daughter of actor Richard Beckinsale television and theater and television actress Judy Loe. His father died in 1979, at 31 years of age, when Beckinsale was only six. It also has a greater half-sister, Samantha Beckinsale, born of the first marriage of his father, who is also an actress .
He completed his schooling in the female private school Godolphin and Latymer in London. Once finished, he began acting, as did their parents, and undertook his profession gradually. In 1991 he got his first role in the TV movie One Against the Wind which was about World War II, thanks to which became known throughout the United Kingdom.
Then he went to Oxford to study French and Russian literature. University studies considered these features would be more beneficial to her acting career to an acting school.
