Catherine , Duchess of Cambridge (born Catherine Elizabeth Middleton in Reading , Berkshire, January 9, 1982 ) is the wife of Prince William , Duke of Cambridge , who is second in line of succession to the thrones of the 16 Kingdoms Commonwealth , and if it becomes king , Catherine became queen consort . Before her marriage , was popularly known as Kate Middleton.
Since the beginning of her relationship with Prince , the press has closely followed his private life and often speculated on a possible wedding. The November 16, 2010 , a statement from Clarence House, where the compromise between Catherine and Prince William was announced was issued. Cambridge Catherine was born at Royal Berkshire Hospital in the city of Reading, on January 9, 1982. Daughter of Carole Elizabeth Goldsmith, a flight attendant, and Michael Francis Middleton, flight dispatcher. He is the eldest of three brothers, among which are Philippa Charlotte and William James. His family is of English origin but with a distant Scottish and French descent.


In 1987 the company his parents founded Party Pieces, a business selling by catalog items and decorations for parties and events. She was raised in the village of Bucklebury, Berkshire, and attended the school St. Andrew's School, which is located in Pangbourne. Years later entered the Marlborough College and later attended the University of Saint Andrews, where he studied art history and met Prince William.
