Rachel McAdams who is?

Rachel McAdams, (London, Ontario, Canada on November 17, 1978). It is a Canadian film and television actress. After graduating from a theater program for four years at the University of York in 2001, he worked steadily in Canadian productions such as My Name is Tanino (2002), Perfect Pie (2002) or the series Slings and Arrows (2003-2005 ) until he found fame with films such as Mean Girls (2004) and the romantic drama The Notebook (2004). For this last performance Rachel won great reviews. Later his presence is usual in films like Red Eye (2005), Wedding Crashers (2005), The Family Stone (2005) Married Life (2008), State of Play (2009), Sherlock Holmes (2009) and its sequel, Morning Glory (2010) and Midnight in Paris (2011), among others.
It is considered by the media as "the new girl in Hollywood" and "the next Julia Roberts".




McAdams was born in London, Ontario (Canada), and raised in the village St. Thomas. Her father, Lance, is a truck driver, and his mother, Sandra, is a nurse. On his grandmother has Welsh ancestry. McAdams has an older brother, Daniel, and a younger sister, Kayleen. At age 4 she began skating at the age of twelve he started in acting, going to the Original Kids Theatre Company in Ontario. In 2001 he graduated from York University in Toronto, earning a Bachelor of Bachelor of Fine Arts (Bellas Artes). He also attended the Society of Children's Theatre London.


McAdams had a four-year relationship with Canadian actor Ryan Gosling from 2005 to 2008. They met filming The Notebook, but during filming had a very distant relationship. After their split, Gosling described her as "one of the great loves of his life."


He had a relationship for almost two years with fellow actor Michael Sheen, whom he met on the set of Midnight in Paris, in 2010. The couple ended their relationship in February 2013.
McAdams lives in Harbord Village Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She shares a house with his younger brother. However, having the Green Card (Permanent Residence Card in the United States).
